Idiotic Staff in Warzone

Honestly, resetting scores in Warzone is a pretty fucked up mistake that takes a large amount of idiocy. The only thing needed to "host" warzone is an advert. What the hell was he macroing?

Goddess did this as well, resetting tobe and I think nicknames scores of over 2 mil each. I'm not sure but she might have even gotten jiu jitsu, who was over 8 mil.

I think that he was trying to macro *flagreset or *timereset. They are only 11 letters. It's not that hard or even slow to type that out. (Maybe it was an *arena <message>)

Staffers use to have quotas to fill, I think it was 30-40 events/help calls a month but recently I've been told that isn't strictly followed or enforced. In any case if you're an Event Ref then you should be hosting. If you're on staff, i'm sorry to burst your bubble but it isn't for you, you're volunteering your time to administrate a server FOR the population.

The quota is enforced. Notice Zerzera, Molgan, and Phrentis are not staff any more. Zerzera told me it was cause they didn't meet the quota.

Don't you think it's kinda pointless crying over lost points? Us pubbers have them reset every two weeks when we don't want them to be.

And you lot always go on about how points and rec and all that kind of shit doesn't matter. Why does it suddenly matter in warzone, an event that only gets hosted once every blue moon?

Please give me an answer to these questions. I'm dying to know why veterans would care about it so much that they would personally flame the staff member involved over something so trivial as points.

I can understand screwing up once. Every staff has screwed up if they say they haven't theyre filthy dirty liars!
Once I was in an intense basing event where i was Terring and we were holding flagroom and there was about 30 seconds left in game...score was pretty much tied...maybe we had the slight lead, but Kim <ER> earwarped the other team, they grabbed flag for 5 seconds and got the reward and won. This is just idiocy...but it was only one occurence and it wasnt even close to the Warzone incidents so I let it slide.

Bahamut I did get over it in about an hour but the facts are:
1) Randedl scorereset in Warzone
2) then Goddess scorereset in Warzone
3) then Bahamut <ER> scorereset in Warzone
4) then Fit <ER> scorereset in Warzone
5) another dumbass staffer is bound to scorereset in Warzone and I gurantee I will be in the arena

but imagine if there was a pub that didn't reset, and coudl hold your scores over years -- wouldn't you want in on that? THere was a group of us that all did, cyber, bh, jiu, proj, vehicle, me, mess, topgod and a load of others and most of us have been reset now which fucks everything up.

Other thing which usually spoils gameplay in warzone are LEVIs! whole team is way too ez target for levterr - because usually all are in narrow bases and noone can escape... Some staffers set levs to 2 per freq. I recommend 0.
