It's not exactly conning people if nobody is actually losing anything... (except him) Madtek said in another thread that he was only doing this in the vain hope that the staff will recruit him... i would think that this has done more to damage his chances of ever getting staff than it has to help him because of the lack of organisation.

I look forward to it slider but if you ever do another one.. please remember the lessons you've learnt doing this one.

Grasping at straws are we? Explain to me exactly whats been fucked up?

Could it be the 120 players signed up in the tournament?

Could it be the bot developers working to create the legacybot so the tournament is that much smoother run?

Could it be the staff support that I have?

O I KNOW! Maybe its the legions of players, and staffers coming forward offering to help me make the tournament an even bigger success then its already gonna be?

the jav tourney July 10-15-20, 2005. Prize for that tournament is TBA but im pretty sure im gonna give away an xbox game console with 2 games. Keep an eye out for that one.

As for the lessons....
well cant say that there were any lessons that I myself needed to worry about. I pretty much knew that a few people were gonna be negative, and as you can see I can pretty much handle them ez. Most of what the negatives had to say on this issue didn't hold much water anyway...just their paranoia, and pecimism about anything & everything. It's to be expected from these guys.

I know I could have done this without staff support, but it's a hell of alot easier with them on board. With my arena done, and the bot almost done.....we'll have a good tournament.

anyway....my mistake for the misunderstanding pure....I'll remove you from the list on my next update.

Well i can think of several lessons you've learnt.. and i don't want to be mean so i won't go off and quote several things you've said. But as Eph was saying.. you didn't listen to many suggestions originally, which is probably the biggest thing you needed to do.
It was all "no i can do this myself - ie without a bot, without staff support, without bonding money etc"

Those are "some" of the lessons you've learnt :P

I'd suggest planning things through better next time before jumping onto the forums announcing a tournament.

But as i said before i'm looking forward to it... you better cough up the cash to the winner at the end though!!!
