Personally, the original Weasel settings previous to the 1 tile setting was fine. There were no complaints, nothing.

The only ship that needs changing is the levithan. Not the Weasel. The nightwasp and levithan can be combined into ship number 5. The ship would have the EMP bomb with Shrap, slower rate of bullets of the NightWasp, Stealth, Attach ability, maybe a change in the shipset, maybe the ability to
?buy the L4 bomb. These are just suggestions.

no way to buy the bombs, it would have to be buy thors. i am for the safe store having more than just 5 items. its should have a few ultra expensive items too, points become only more valuble. you would also have to be careful not to mess up with your super expensive equiment, its also taking a risk. very interesting

I was really hoping the nightwasp was April Fools.. but i'm just hoping that dock> forgot to remove it. lolz. I don't like the nightwasp one bit... i would rather have the old weasel back. people still cloak even tho nightwasp isn't as deadly as the weasel itself. the nightwasp is a stupid idea, because it causes so many different changes to ships and makes the game as a whole worse... person opinion... also IF the nightwasp were to stay.. i think it should be modified as it is overpowered having the abilities, in my opinion, of 4 current ships, weasel, spider, terrier and shark. also, if it were to stay, i personally would like it to replacec the levithan instead of the weasel as it would clearly be a better choice to me, and there won't be needs for dockbot or guanobot and less times people would need to fix the bots.

Maybe that would be a good way to temper the Leviathan, give it better bombs as it bounties up? Seems like a lot of trouble and dubious of the overall gameplay effect.

edit to add: I'm going to play a bit now but if any of you guys see me in pub anytime (and a good game isn't going) feel free to message me in game and maybe you can show me what you're complaining about, maybe I can do same. I'm not a mod or remotely connected to the administration but I'm up for it for interest. Note: Just not a bunch of duel challenges to show which ship is better. That's ez - the one I'm in. HAW!

Yes, excellent idea. disagree on making levis have to get a bounty for the bombs, even if the bounty were low for levi, how would it get the bounty? its a super slow ship. but yes to your idea for other ships or nitewasp,

and let me throw this in one more time because its ingenious if i do say so myself: yes to a whole varity of ultra high-priced safe store items. (speed, rotation, bricks, thors, whatever works out ok) the key factor here is that they are so high priced, so it wouldnt even be 1/1000th of 1% of what extreme games is like, instead it would just be rare and interesting.

yes to any ideas people have that makes the game more complex and full. the lv 4 bomb idea by cloud or some similar idea is good because it requires high bounty and adds something rare. for an idea like that there must always be something to make it uncommon so trenchwars stays trenchwars. there are many common elements, and moderately frequent elements to TW. some sort of rare elements added ,whatever it may be, would give the game more fullness and character

Tone, I don't think public should be rare or novel. If you want something like that go to a hosted event, pub's thrill seems to be informal nonstop basing; nothing more, nothing less.

Don't make it try to be all of the fun of elim + zombies + what ever else you care to name.

I preffered the weasel.

I personally think that the night wasp is a generally weak ship. Even though I am a newbie it is very rare that I lose a fight with a wasp although common that I lose a fight with anything else :P

I think that the weasel added an element of gameplay that is now lost - there is no assassin role anymore - the wasp cannot kill when comming out of cloak. And the ability to fly through the small holes made things interesting. The weasel was so different game play wise to the otherships that it is a shame to lose it.

It used to be worth keeping an eye on the radar for sneaking weasels. And a weasel that manages his energy carefully enough could sneak up on a single enemy ship and destroy it - but if they misjudges their energy they could find themselves in real trouble.

sadly now I find myself sometimes thinking. "nah I won't play TW, I want to play the weasel at the moment and there is none."

If some people like the wasp could there be different pubs where some use the weasel and some use the nightwasp? (Just like at the moment where the levi is allows in some but not others)

I much prefere the (new) Weasel, it was just fun. The wasp sucks. I think the having the wasp in the pure pubs instead of the levi would be good, granted it had a few changes. For one get rid of the attach it has, thats why we have terrs, and shrink it to the size of one tile! and if it is staying please change the gfx to something a bit, better, at least let it have rolling!
