looks like someone just took the tileset into psp and sofented it all but it looks nice, will take a while getting used to tho

Yeah, that was exactly the case, haha. I applied several filters, did some colorshifting, added shading, and then applied the changes in 24bit. Basically the filters allowed the 256 colors to render themselves on a wider spectrum. Other than that, we're looking at the exact same tiles. But such is the TW way. Slow, steady improvement.

well i tried opening it up in ssme but someone cleverly made it an invalid 256 color format.

Jacklyn, try changing to higher amount of colors. Options/Preferences/Whateversettings -> Color Depth. Only problem here is that not all computers can handle it. :/
