Well, I heard about "ship size cheat" a while ago in one chat, maybe it was that. It might affect other clients too. (Not just the cheater's) Because as Ewan said, the decision if the ship was hit or not is made on your client, so if the bullet really went through him (looked like it, but not that sure.) for some reason, your client thought it was a miss too.

On the other hand, I don't see how he could change his ship's size on your client too. I'm not sure here, but I doubt the clients send packets "my ship is 16 pixels wide", but they just send packets "I'm a warbird" and the clients then check the settings. Too tired to check the packets. Oh well, not my problem.

Anyways, semen, I don't know what program they use and what works with Continuum, but google for 'record screen', and you might get pretty far.

Well in the settings it states how many pixels there are, so if it says "I'm a warbird" then it must include the settings, stating that's it's x pixels wide

I'm inclined to think that what you saw was just lag, Xog, but there definitely are cheaters in TW.

I won't mention any names, but in a dd we had the other day 2 people were boosting across 2-4 radar blocks and instantly firing. We figured that they had some sort of energy green cheat, because occasionally they would doubleshot at the end of a very long rush without having run over any greens. About 5 people in spec were telling us to call a mod, and we had one watch the last round to try to keep things clean. In the end we won anyway, so we didn't push the issue, though there was a bit of amusing trash talking afterwards.

I've only been playing for a short time, and originally thought that all the accusations of cheating in twd were just cases of sour grapes, but I guess I know better now. That people would actually resort to cheating like that in twd is so pathetic that it's almost funny in a sad sort of way. I kind of feel sorry for the rest of their squad though, because those two just pissed on their squad's rep.

It was just a lag spike or slow down from the capture. I already posted this above

If you slowed it down while doing editing you would have seen it miss Xog, it was very close though but the bullet would not have gone through him on your client. The pixel hack also does not allow for it to happen, it only makes it look like you eat a lot when you're actually cheating. If you want a screen capture application try hyperCam 2.
