true, but he left melee which was his squad, made grape and idssolved it, now remade. So he's a good cap but he hasn't shown the longterm yet, and he wasn't succesful enough in the short term to be one of the best.

I still love him as a guy though.

He left Melee cause Poid kept recruiting basers that sucked. And he wanted more of a wb squad.

Oh right, Randedl is a great leader too. He managed to create a top-notch squad (when he ran Melee in season 6 and Grapevine in season 7) with only one or two known 'big name' players. He's living proof that if you know what you're doing you can create a good squad even if you aren't close friends with every so called 'elite' player out there.

Epi, are you high? You must not have been online (and thus not on the mod chat) much when CoT went off the deep-end in mid-2001. The guy alienated many who formerly respected him including me, Dock, and Yomama who were all flabbergasted at his 180º change of attitude and character during those spring months of 2001. At the time that I deleted this game in June '01, CoT was a major lamer, and he deserved to get axed from staff.

Being a member of Vulch from the day Elusive dissolved in December of 2000 until the end of 2001 I can assure you I was there. I'm not going to go into it in detail as it was a long time ago, but many people had a bad view of CoT because of his methods which I agree were sometimes draconian. But if you actually knew the guy personally you would realize that what he did was based on pretty solid ideals and he definately knew what he was doing when he was running a squad and when he was dean.

Actually it's somewhat ironic that this current message board has pretty much the same policies that CoT had on his own TW message board (which were heavily criticized back then), but since the obvious target of CoT is gone (and replaced by a faceless 'forum staff'), the troublemakers don't have a target to latch upon. Anyway this was years ago so I won't discuss it further :P

Epineprhine is a good leader. I have to say Epi because hes my buddy and would get sad if I didn't.

KJW obviously rocks as well. His squad still exists, and he is respected by many people in the game.

Erathia somehow made a good squad. He is a jerk, and nobody likes him. Esspecially me! But I must admit he made a good squad that I don't want to join. LUV YA ERAT :wub:
