This isnt the 1st time i heard of a squad or even a group of ppl from SS getting together for a "party" type thing. I know my previous DSB squad had something like this. If it wasnt in the Netherlands i actualy thought about going just to see a ffew of the ppl i play beside in games and such. This isnt that "nerdY" especialy if they all live in a general area of each other.

Meeting people once or something, it's not nerdy. It's just a little weird, but to go on a camping trip with people you don't know besides playing a game with is a little pathetic in my opinion. That is what distinguishes nerds and losers from just regular gameplayers lol.

You guys have weird fears of unknown ppl. I have had about 30 lego members here at my house and all went well few years ago, at "juhannus". I knew prolly lil more than half before that. Last meeting with mambo's was scheduled in good time before and we spend 3 days at cottage (fr-su), we had great weather and everything was just great.

Don't think anyone can say that they haven't met (ingame) any pretty cool people, and so why is it so wierd that when people decide to meet the people that they have spent so much time with on SS.

I haven't personally, but wouldn't pass up the chance of meeting a few players that I've known for along time. Wouldn't you be curious as to what they're really like? anyways theirs a good few lads I know that I wouldn't mind going for a pint with if they were anywhere around my way.

Like there was enough sun in Finland to get anyone tanned. Every picture you've seen of Finland is actually taken in starlight or moonlight. We've developed the cameras to be good enough to have pictures that look like they were taken in the sunlight. It's actually not even faking a picture, living so long in the dark has caused Finnish people's eyes to develop much better night vision than those living south. We actually see see that well in conditions you'd call "night". Whenever we visit a country that DOES have sun, we have to use very dark sun glasses or we get blinded.
