Honestly, this won't do any good. Massive ship setting reforms are in order before public arenas can even come close to getting back to normal.

Why not just make a stupid .?go 8v8 or something stupid and have the settings in their, dont have to make it a pub.

We can't have just a couple pubs have a certain amount of population than others. It's all one setting or none, and this wouldn't happen.

Don't say it can't be done if it can be done with a bot. :P

It could be like where you pick your ship to what your team needs. Max of 5 spids on a team. Max of 2 sharks on a team. Max of 1 jav!!!!!!!!! Max of 1 wb. Something like that. It would make some pubs really fun. But if you want to have a big stray fest in pubs you can go to pub 0.

I've been thinking a bit in that direction. I think in pub 0 there should be a limit for javs and weasels. (If someone has played Day of Defeat or similar, many servers limit the amount of snipers, and for a reason.)

Oh and the bot should warp people from roof. Too many damn roofers. (Already proposed before btw.)

Every time someone comes up with an idea, someone says "if you want it that bad and think it's a good idea, why don't you make an own arena for it?". Answer: because people won't go there. And even though people don't go there, it doesn't mean it's a bad idea. There was an arena that was pub, but levs were disabled, and now pub 0 is clearly more popular than the others.

This is why the bot should remove the speccers. Actually I think in the first two pubs the bot should remove people who have been speccing for more than 10 minutes. (If you really ARE actively speccing, change in and out once in a while.)

But on the actual subject: Nah, I don't see any need for something like this. It really isn't the amount of people the needs changing, but there should be some other limits.
