Sir>elim_killer!, I don't think you've met everyone on Staff. I know of plenty great staffers that do their job well. There's even a thread with a bunch of stats on it to prove that we have staffers doing their jobs (the numbers are accurate, I'm sure if you really wanted to question them you could always talk to any other staffer who has access to the stats to confirm). Granted we are all human and humans will make mistakes...we aren't perfect, no one is. And as you said, we have lives and we do do this on our free time...so we won't always be available to help out for there are unforseen events that do occur in people's houses. I'm sorry one or two bad apples are "ruining" TW for ya. Personally though, I wouldn't let two bad apples out of 500 regulars ruin TW for ya. Ignore them and send in complaint e-mails, let the upper staffers know.

Unless you're looking for trouble or want to push staffers to the extreme you can go without a warning or ban. Compared to other zones TW staff seems to be the best in quility for zone content, help and administration. Some zones will just ban people for silly reasons and offer nothing but a super zone, with crappy LVZ work.


It's not the Moderators runining the zone, they do need to be more strict on some people though. It's the people who cheat, people who think it's funny to be racists, kids who fight on this forum over stupid things; specificly with staff, kids who do nothing but play public and spam macros just enough not to get banned, abusive and cheating staffers who do nothing but cause fights or try to get good staffers axed, Upper staff for not updating the zone or at least allow lower staff groups to take over, Forum Moderators who won't remove racists and trolls and all the guys who leave the forum and game because of these people/problems. They're destroying this game, not us.

Do you know why I do these things? Because it's already been destroyed BY YOU. The zone today is one resulting from dropping several nukes on the shipsettings stemming from the hiring retarded newbies into staff. Newbies irritate old and competent staff, old staff leaves in disgust. And it brings us to today, hello, the zone is rotting, are you all happy? Sure you are, you still believe you've done nothing wrong. Well clearly I can't let you all sit in your blissful circle jerk in peace telling yourselves you're doing one hell of a fine damn job. Rich, I'm not old staff but I've been in TW for years. Tell me how is lower staff effecting the zone, or how am I?

Edit: I'm not really disagreeing, everyone has their part in this. I don't think lower staff or moderators have more of an effect then anyone of the things I listed. Weather you want to see newer staff as a burden or not to the zone they are needed, that is if you consider ?cheater calls, staff help, forum Moderators, Bot coders/developers and Admin.. all needed to run this zone.

Edit: Elim killer you remind me of the retards who think they know so much about the internet, and spend all their time on a forum complaining about their ISP. The truth is their problem's could be fixed if they knew how to deal with the ISP, and work with them. This to me is strangely similar.1 more thing Trench Wars is still a great zone, it's so good that it is up beside WoW, and CS on my games list. Not only on my list, you can go into most high school in , Vancouver, and talk about trench wars without people saying "wtf is that". The community is still great, and I enjoy the new events. I think trench wars is too hardcore for you, and your brain can't process all that hardcore energy so it translates it as "down to the barrel".

If that how you feel fine, but you have no idea what you are talking about. For me I dont rank my games that I play. If im in the mood I turn on SS, but I dont get so invovled in my games. Unlike Canadians you go into highschool in the US talk about to TW, nd no one ould know and care. This is the fact that alot of times we dont take our games so serious.

I think it is just sad how involved you get into a game, especially a 2d game. You can go back to your hs and talk about your experiences in your 2d game. The fact is I am way past that, and know when i go to college I have much more important things to talk about then m experiences in a 2d game. If tht makes you feel good, thats fine, but not everyone like you looks at TW so hardcore. Personally I think you need a life, and try experiencing things that dont involve a computer.
