After a while, staff will brainwash us all with announcements such as "BUY your oWN ARENA AND beCOME a mod there!"
Again people start to spend money and TW's financial status will change from "quite poor" to "Alright, we can go to McDonald's now".

i don't think you can become mod of just an arena. u can be owner, but that does not give u any powers except to change settings. unless this is some unforeseen option in the ASSS.

Actually, yes the ole server allows you to give mods powers on a per arena level. Infact, that is why ZHs are able to host two arenas. ERs have mod powers in all non public arenas.

I think it's a great idea.
It will bring some joy to the comunity and it might even bring more of those inactive staffers back from sleep :grin:
It's a good idea to bring life back to the game, more events with more quality = more people happy and more people playing tw.

Although there will be surely a few who pick up the guantlet and race for the prize i think most mods will quickly realise they've no chance of beating those guys and not change their hosting ways. I see an overdose of low quality poorly hosted events in the next month which will put ppl off some decent events for ever.

if you need to give prizes for staff to make their job, then maybe you got the wrong staff...

in other words, just kick staff who doesnt DO their JOB which is hosting events.
and instead of publish a contest, just secretly give bonus (like 100$) to those who do their job as right as they should.

i thought the whole idea of bein staff is to volunteer. my friend wanted to do it for free, he will do a good work, but go a head and give money for those who are lazy.
