I agree. I dont think TW is dyng either, but the isolation and the lack of information given to the new public players should not be tolerated. The lack of attention given to them are minimal, and we always discrimate all pubbers as 'newbs'. Many of the pubbers have great skills in both wb and in base, and they should be focused upon more closely.

Props to Apoc for trying, but noone cares. Trench Wars is dying, will be dead before too long and noone cares. That's just how it is. Try to enjoy it while you can.

This game isn't limited to just TW. If you look at the bright green numbers on your client page, you'll notice that ALL other zones have declining populations as well. I remember EG used to have mid 300s and DSB had maybe 200. Now EG is down to 100-200 and DSB is even less and I dont' see TW breaking its population record any time soon. Or later. With all the technological crap being invented/created everday, you can't expect newer people to start playing this game when they COULD be doing the same thing with better graphics, options, and all the other 3D crap available at a piratable price. Face it, even though we're mostly HS and college students, we've already become an outdated generation. It's like listening LPs when you could run around with your miniature iPod. You can't blame anybody. All you can do is "curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal".

Mambo was inactive but still managed to be n.1 in twbd for long time just playing games (winning of coz) once a week, that tells you about inactivity in basing scene at the moment.

Also, ?go base doesnt enymore have that much "old vets" playing, its boring as hell usually with no characters, if you know what I mean.

oh i had a convo with teks on ventrilo one stoned night about a mass subspace advertisement.
i have met alot of good friends on ss also i like to call dirty mexicans and foreigners but its kewl we have a laugh but omg when am i going to go to australia, but in effect i have i've talked to people from all round the world and its fricking awsome so maybe one day a mass promotion.

i dunno maybe add to it but things like:
car stickers t-shirts with the download address or a simple shirt with address of the site on the back and arrow keys on the front, its not that much to get t-shirts printed and if you have a leader from each country state, location whatever to just distribute with say a lil donation to the tw peeps.
i mean a shirt in uk your looking at like 6 quid for one. get the word out there get the peeps online
