If he posted only 10% of what Dock said, you might have a point if he didn't post less than 10% of what he himself had probably said. Again, it would probably help his case if he did post what he said to Dock, but since he didn't, it doesn't matter if he only posted 10% of what Dock said. That's still more than what he admitted to saying himself. How do I not know if Dock gave him a hard time? How do I know if Last Rites didn't say anything that deserved it? I don't know enough to say either way. All I have to go by is what is said in this thread, and frankly, Cavalry's support has been hurting more than helping. As immature as Cavalry has been, he's not helping his cause if he's saying and doing stuff that's worse than what he's accusing others of.

The analogy about the customer being right is flawed. Last Rite wasn't acting from the perspective of a customer, not because he isn't paying anything, but because he was proposing an idea to change the zone. That's not acting in the role of a customer but acting in the role of an industry analyst. A closer analogy to what went on here is Last Rite acting as a lobbyist and going up to the President. That's not how it should be done, especially with the TWPS available. If a lobbyist approached the President the way Last Rites did, the President and his Secret Service would have done what Dock et al did.

This isnt real life, I don't have a president in a game.

Any ways, we both said bad things. But if you want the all honest, it was his doing at first, which gave me the idea to say what I had said. I am Last Rites, and I am in Gantz. I have no reason to talk mess unless someone else starts it, Gantz has no reason to talk smack unless someone else starts it.

I'm sure DangerGirl summarised the staff position on this topic quite adequately on page one. That's probably where it should have tapered off, before the flames started engulfing the thread that is.
In addition to her post it may be worthwhile to note that helping people with game related aspects, while a primary role for Zone Helpers, is also a primary role for staff in general. Granted there will be those who would appear less than helpful at the best of times (no names), but that does in no way reflect upon us as a whole unless you intend to make that poor generalisation.
Offhandedly, I can assure you that while the ZH tag implies a great degree of Zone Help, often that can be what can least be supplied. Apart from having a wealth of resources that range from website links, their knowledge on game functions, and staff chat support itself, their influence is lacking. They cannot shipreset you, they can only offer directions on TWD solving problems, they probably do not know how long it will take for your zombies map to be uploaded. And it is these questions that are asked moreoften than "How do I shoot?"
So while I support your idea of providing game related advice Last Rites, you should consider that there is nothing you cannot learn about playing the game itself that you cannot find out by pressing escape or F1, and there is nothing you can do without staff resources to answer any tough questions. It is for this reason that your endevour will only yield as many results as you can offer, barely enough to massage your ego.
However, keep this initiative of yours up for six months and you can have my priority recommendation for staff, then you can see for yourself how unhelpful and corrupt we are, and tell your friends about it.

Alternatively you can just help people help themselves by macroing "F1".

The people are obviously giving him a hard time. If you are to read carefully, you can tell that the staff literally, ganged up on the guy. Troll, I hope you have notcied last rites said he said only %10 of what dock had given him, while 90% was hidden from others to see. If you wanted to suggest this to staff and to the public then you would have left the part about DoCk> out of it, it was a private issue with him and I nor anyone here can confirm your "logs", you have no reputation with me or anyone here and you've found only the lowest of the low on this forum to support your ideas, by flamming staff.

As I've said before, this is one of those dumb ideas.
But the person who came up with it had the right mind, and even after all those flames and spams, he is still "somewhat" calm/chilled. I think we (or at least some of us) are becoming the guys his <GT>s are suppose to stop.
