This has been happening on & off for over a year to me. Sometimes even just getting picked as shark in ?go base or pressing Esc + 8 is enough to crash Continuum.

Update: I just discovered I don't have that problem. I only disconnect when some idiot on msn chooses to nudge, and wink me a thousand times a minute.

DA started one of those earlier ones himself too, though those were all about crashing upon changing into a shark. I think that it's the same bug though, and that it might be related to the process of spawning as a shark. The symptoms and circumstances are similar enough.

There have been several threads about this, but since no one ever has any answers and nothing's been changed, I don't think you could say that there have been "enough" threads about it.

Sometimes I will crash upon change into shark and also crash when I attach to terr. It's sorta random and sometimes it seems to help if I don't jam the F7 button so fast ^^

Could it be ... the "Ctrl" key is so close to the "window" key ... if you use the original key def like I do ... every now and then a wrong key is pressed when you try to rep and SS is changed into window mode :fear:

Either that or you have a faulty keyboard thats malfunctioning >_<

1. Pressing the window key simply opens your start menu, basically alt-tabbing you out of the game, not crashing the game.

2. The fact that many people have this problem proves that it couldnt be a malfunctioning keyboard.
