Dedicated servers and Colocated servers in europe tend to be far more expensive since bandwidth isn't as cheap as it is in the USA.

It may be easy for you all to say "move the server back to europe", but keep in mind that that is easier said than done because of the increased expenses which would result.

Let me thing...All Euros and who are closer to Europe than America would vote the server being moved to Europe. And all americans would vote that server will stay in America. So the winner would be the one with more users.

Could be but as you can see from my trace, I don't have any problems with hopone. Perhaps some of their routers aren't working so well and your ISP uses em.

Only thing wrong with that ^ is that MANY people (especially from europe) have been experiencing huge lag/ploss for...weeks.

This is a strange problem - ive notice my lag spiking up occasionally to 230ms and 1% ploss from its normal level of 90ms and 0.1% ploss.

Maybe the hurricanes have damanged some undersea cables or something idk - but ive notices quite a few websites seem slower than normal....
