i started playing right around before bush became president after 9-11 i stopped playing for like a year or so and started playing again in 02 but quit again to play runescape (after i was hacked i went back to continuum) and in 03-near 04 i was just stuck to this game under different names till i stayed with this one.sigpic

I didn't read this whole thread, but I would imagine that i was one of the first to play SS in general.
Virgin Interactive was the original software firm to release subspace. I was lucky enough to be a beta tester for subspace before it was released to the public in '96. Unfortunately, Virgin Interactive went down the drain and luckily independent parties picked up where they left off and kept this game in circulation. '95 was the earliest you could have played this game and that's of course when I started playing thanks to Virgin.Comment
