Pissed off!

Geez, I'm pissed off at the Trench Wars community. Who would've thought so many people could be stupid enough to come all the way in the TW forums only to flame staff? I'm sure they do the best they can and the best with what they have. I for one, wouldn't want staff because it's probably harder than it looks, or something like that.

So, I dedicate this thread as a big warm THANK YOU to all the staffers for doing a great job. Post your reason why you like...appreciate...love staff.

Yeah, there are some good staff members. Zeus, as a stickler for the rules, and apparently doing his best to stay out of the crap threads we find ourselves mired in from time to time, is an excellent example in my book.
Others, such as Evasive, have their loyal fans and then the rest of us, either neutral or blatantly abused, with seeming impunity. I'm glad there are new people being added to the roster, like I've said before, it can only get better. Hopefully. And the staff who take pride in their jobs and behave respectably won't have to endure working with 15 year old drug addicts anymore!

Because of recent events and lack of attention this forum has been given over the past few months I have been assigned as a forum moderator here.


I will be enforcing the rules and attempt to move this forum in a positive direction. General criticism is acceptable as it does help us come up with new ideas and ways of working but if you are not intrested in that process and just want to give TW Staff and this community shit then you will not be welcomed here. Having that ability is not a free pass to flame or hijack threads.
Please keep in mind that there are some things that I and other staffers can not share. I can understand that is frustrating but it is necessary for the current operations of this zone. Lets try to be reasonable and civil here and I will offer as much information as I am allowed.

I will NOT edit anyones post nor will I randomly close threads.

I will close or move intial posts/threads that break the forum rules. Others where the population here wants to hijack/destroy other forum member's threads with some kind of value or test the limits will be closed or moved eventually. If you intentionally do this I will consider warnings and then bans so play by the rules I and the forum will have no problem with you. Swing it around, change and clean it up and nothing has to be done.

No, I wouldn't want staff as I tend to give up things and get bored easily. Which is why I would rather have others do it for me, cuz I'm lazy that way.
As for this thread, I felt the need to post something "positive" to break the "chain" of bad threads.
