Pokemon started that whole superiority thing when I was a kid.

You weren't cool if you:
-didn't know where to find Missingno.
-didn't own all 150 pokemon
-don't know how to give yourself unlimited items
-couldn't beat mewtwo (>.<)
-chose Bulbasaur in the beginning of the game
-didn't own a link cable

check on all those, makes me wish I still had my red cart with all 151 + evolved missingos and missingos in the final four beating hallf of fame list, though viewing the list with that monster in it screwes the slideshow and makes it a strange experience with mucked music and completely random screens, good times.

I completed yellow and gold on an emulator. I also liked the show for a bit and also completed the complete basic set.

I lost interest after gold though as they just kept adding more and more pokemon.
