In a world of increasing hostility and violence between nations, one finds itself torn apart. The United States of America has been thrown into turmoil by the division within itself. The continuous battle between the red states and the blue, the devious Republicans and the failing Democrats has proved a hard fought battle. Commanded by the Bush family, the US has been thrown out of the deadlock and into a Republican dominated system. With this, the decline of abortion rights, freedom of speech and many other previously thought rights as Americans.
Yet interestingly enough, that very same battle is being waged within the online 2d game of Subspace. Oddly similar to the congress of the United States, the staff of Trench Wars is of course dominated by the few that control the many. So, in a virtual world of shrapnel and explosions, how has this division come about, and what will it do to the future of the game. A quick glance at the positions of power reveals the oligarchy that has emerged, a group of freeloving basers. Headed by the fearless terrier Pure_luck, the new flocks of ZHs have followed the path. A I <ER>, Ewan <ER>, dr. coiff <er>, Centurion <ZH>, jessup <ZH>, Eggs <ZH>, K O <ZH>, Herik <ZH>, Leitz <ZH>, Peace <ZH>, Nable <ZH>, sws <ZH>, PUNK <ZH>, emaho <zh>. Simply a short list of newly aquired staff (there are many more not listed) focused on the basing division of TW. So you may ask, in a world of three divisions, javelin warbird and basing, who will prevail? For I fear the future of TW beholds a monarchy of the terrier, a shrinking of javelins and warbirds and the amazingly annoying sound of spider bullets.
The solution: a more evened out new class of staff, javelins, warbirds, basers alike to further diversify the population of TW and help the future people of this great world.
