I remember when i used to lt in like 2002, Elliptical Halo (or close to that) was the best levterr to memory, he used to have tons of people asking him daily for 1 turn, he knew every shot, and like every lev he had would hit at least 500 bty.

Since when was this a base orientated zone?

Most of the best & fun things about this zone have nothing to do with basing.

You only have to compare the populaity of elim,tourny,javs/baseelim,duel,wbduel to that of ?go base.

There are 3 dueling leaques in twd and only 1 basing leaque. Compare the number of squads that base to those that play the other divisions.

pure basing (ie no levi) has a sizeable minority interest in this zone but it is not the main purpose of it.

But it's a base, with a flag, that you're supposed to (as a team) capture and hold. That's basing in my book.

haha hel yea i was just playing in pub 0 anmd there were to huge turrets acumo was driving one and forgot who was on the other and i kept hunting and owning them i thinki went like 103-15 or so all turret kills $

LT's are stupid, and ruin the game.

When a levis nrg drops below a certain point it should lose connection to the terr.

EG used to have if not still has a ball game in their pub, does that make them a ball zone? You can do a lot of things in pub; its a pretty versatile arena. The point of the whole arena varies from person to person. I like to see how much bounty I can get in a warbird, while some other people might like to get the FR. Some people like to cloak me and ruin my dueling game. Other people like to levterr and ruin the basing game. Get over it

EG has NO LT that can blow up an entire base you newbie. in EG one ship cant ruin the fun of all other players in the pub. and pure pub in tw is the best pub in the whole game. if you cant base anymore how is that diversity, its not thats how.

Its called the jav in EG. I've made people cry with it - a ship that can fire 5 bombs in a row is fun ship especially with prox

Held base for over half an hour at the weekend with multiple attacks from levi and other ships. We wouldnt hav lasted 5 mins if we didnt have a shart to rep the levi bombs...

Repels do nothing against your own team's bombs. Just sayin'.

As far as the "old school" settings.. it's a hell of a lot easier to defend the flag room without those damn tiny weasels all over the place. LT's annoy the shit out of me, but that's nothing new. The lanc's one-shot kills seem ridiculous, but maybe that's because I'm still looking at them as a spid/wb hybrid instead of a slightly slower warbird with bigger guns. Put back in the pub bots, maybe get the turret limit back down to where it usually is, and these settings might even be better than what we've got now, imo.
