well obviously not everyone on the team is going to have that many, but we didnt have hiding recs either, we were fighting the entire game almost, just not in spawn zone

Well...to me some of the more fun, and interactive are Balance, Fishies, Deathmatch, Hunt, and Cloak. Do 'um!

We need some weekeneds of tournaments in each of the categories.

Acro (winners)
Rock, Paper, Scissors (Theres a bot for this)
Drawing contests (in ?go pictionary)
racing games (just enter random racing zone, like f1spirit)
hockey (maybe a round robin tournament)
Teams of Javelin, Warbird, Spider, Lancaster, Weasel, levi, and basing (choose a different map that follows each ship's style, but a bit wacky).

And do some treasure hunts that I got mirror <ER> to do once.
start off in one arena, give them a question/riddle.
they get the right answer they then type ?go <ANSWER>
and each arena they go into a bot will await them with a new question/riddle.
Once they solved each one and finally arrive in the arena your hiding in. The winner gets to choose their event.

Hunt in ?go #mod with unlimited rockets, that way people can move.

That was fun. I won that once.

I remember Dameon did a scavenger hunt kinda thing once. It was pretty cool. We all started in ?go trivia. Then he gave the first task - you have to bring back someone to the arena with two numbers in their name. It was pretty cool, except for the fact that there was no way to tell everyone playing that someone had completed the first task. I won though :P

I vote against balanceout, because it doesn't work with lots of players, the bot appears laggy, and people get impatient waiting. It is a great event, just not with loads of people.

I remember some pretty good variant games being hosted by wark in .?go tanks and I think that is what we need, so custom type events...they are the most fun to play.

The treasure hunt idea Gran mentioned sounds good too.

i'd like to see a human verses bugs war hosted in ?go bug2

humans have to kill the queen 5 times to win.
bugs win by killing general 5 times.
queen and human gerneral (rocket launcher) get to choose some people for special ships to protect them(the flamers etc). Rest are grunts or roaches.

sounds like a game of pawn in ?go capture (the lower part of the map)
where its king and king (terrs) and their pawns (warbird) have to kill the king (freq 1) or the queen (freq 2) whoever kills the king/queen becomes new king/queen. whoever terrs dies the most loses after a couple of rounds.
