The reason for the spamming rule was never meant to cut down on the shit talking but to remove it so the logs we get at the end are not 2000 lines long. There are other reasons and you can find them by looking it up on here but none of them are an attempt to change the culture of the game. As for the forum, the comic is getting old, feel free to post it in UC or Trash Talk. I'm sure if something more creative and entertaining were produced it would be allowed.


I don't know if the rule is still in effect and I'll agree with you on that point, if the rule is going to be enforced it must stick throughout the TWL season and be explicitly communicated to all memebers of staff and all players through the documentation. That said Pure_Luck, Rudy and the rest are the final authority so they can make any rule they want for the zone... but it should be more clear.

Yet again take it elsewhere. Stop killing threads that have some merit just because you hate me. I am neither lazy nor do I want nothing done about this. I've already suggested a remedy for this problem, the larger issue is our banning system and how it is ineffective towards rooting out repeat offenders and is more often then not abused by the players. If that were not a problem TWL wouldn't have any special rules like this, documented or not.

Edit: As a staffer you have to look at other things besides providing players with their entertainment, some may say that's all we're here to do but when you have to enforce rules and maintain the server's quility sometimes your fun can come at the expense of others and can interfer with our operations. I'm not saying it's a clear cut case of either of that here but there's more to it then letting the kids run around having "fun" when it is or could cause problems.

The shit talk in this game for me has died down massively. With eelam gone from Pandora i am now only left with Spikey and KawGay. Now for me this is bad news i liked the rivalry and enjoyed trying my hardest to beat someone. The feeling when i was in squads in my younger days of beating dice was great and it was an underdog story. Now however the younger squads have no one to fight with. EVERYONE IS TOO NICE. Be fucking mean to people, i am.

Also for me twl spamming is a tradition. I remember to twld final where 250+ people spammed good game, i spammed out and missed most of it but when i got back it was still going!1one!! This bs rule this season is taking for me a traditional part of twl away, and i dont like it. At the final im spamming gg and i dont care if i get banned, its tradition.

Nethila, instead of posting childish remarks on the forums how about you answer some of the questions that so many people on these forums seem to have for you. You are a head TWL op, and after everything you have done so far, I think it is fairly true to say that you are incompetent. Letting people like eelam, and king baba back into TWL after leaving squads after the soft lock, banning three people you can ban, and not banning one you can't, and for five lines of text in about.. 30 seconds? How about you stop being ignorant and explain yourself to people. Also, I think being one of the best hosts in this zone for the last three years wouldn't qualify me for incompetent. Maybe if you had ever played a TWL season you would know that spam is apart of the game, get over it. Don't abuse your powers because you can in some sad attempt to make up for a lifetime of getting made fun of. I have seen it before on another game, and frankly it ruins it.

Well did you ever see any problems with vys or deluge or delectable while they were on Quicksand, I sure didn't and if I had you can be sure they would have been axed on the spot, I made sure it was known to all of them that I wouldn't tolerate any bs, and if I even saw one of them lag weird they would be gone and reported.

As for the king baba incident, I did read the other post, and you said that it was too late to change the rules because they had already been posted and you couldn't do anything about it, well isn't banning people without warns going against rules, doing an *arena consider this a warning isn't a warning, so it sounds to me that basically you can add rules as you see fit, so why not just change this one or refuse to do it?
