It would be wrong to have a thread about a game where everything is positive, and the game isn't as awesome as all of you make it sound like.

A small group of people plays it which means -> only known people will get picked, unless they seriously lack people for a game.

It takes some time to get into the game as you say, but how are you supposed to get into the game when you are completely new to it, and people won't pick you cause you suck?

Fast paced? I'd rather do a basing or dueling game. Maybe it's fast paced compared to javs.

Basicly, its slow and gay.

Very rarely are there hosted games. When there is a hosted game in any arena, including strikeball, don't the "known people" get picked first there as well?

Strikeball is leaps and bounds more fast paced than any dueling or basing match. Your above statement only solidifies your lack of Strikeball understanding.

There were def some good games that I played with other ppl, but 1v1-3v3 is not as fun as 4v4+ (as in not even worth playing). I played semi-hardcore for like 3 weeks maybe ... prob more like 2.5 weeks, and I only experienced maybe 3 good, fun, and even games.

It's really dependent on who you play with/against. I personally hate 1s but love 2s because it's what strikeball comes down to, the complete cooperation between players to better the other team. But yeah, 4+ is great and can be a really good time with even-ish teams. To each their own though.

Because there are better things to do. It's better for the other people to play the real ships and make the dueling/basing more competive instead of playing a gay game.

I agree with the really smart person above who said the main reason the game sucks at present is due to the shitty lag settings. It's a little discouraging to go in and have someone tank 4/5 of your shots then have them go score a goal.

The few times I've played it's been a lot of fun.

I've only ever dabbled, and 2v2 was the most I could run across, but you guys make it sound so fun, I will now commit to playing strikeball.

This was my #1 reason:

What I was going to say, though, was that maybe one or a few of the more experienced players could throw together a beginner's guide. Something like that could really transition people from new to playing decent much quicker.
