Honour does not exist anymore and although its more of a personal thing it is still nice to see squads and players admit defeat. Thats not the case anymore, now all you get is an excuse and some trash talking. The courage to trash talk a squad you've lost multiple times to in TWL???

lol wonder who this newbie is talking about. Since this was a few people on QS's first TWL we learned that we shouldnt underestimate lesser squads during, because they certainly are trying so hard. The important reason you get no respect, since this is what it all boils down to, is that you went 5-5, barely made playoffs, and we still had a better rec than you without making it even with a force-forfeit by sk8/neth/pl. Another reason is that your squad is notorious for playing like pussies, and you simply make other squads not care about winning just so they can stop the bullshit running. Try beating squads that arent 1-9 (same goes for squad!!) and you'll find that people might think you have skill instead of an ez schedule. Side note: look at your current roster you fucking newb

This brings me to your next ridiculous topic that LB has the most competition. I dont know what you think about 3 squads ending up 6-4 in one conference, and the other conference having 4 squads all with legitimate chances to get 2 playoff spots in the other conference but I would say that is a very high level of competition. You're an idiot

And about the 'honor', jesus fuck its a video game. I dont know why you play it but I dont find it relaxing to have to worry about sportsmanship and being a nice guy. Whether or not I say 'gg' after every game even if i win 50-30, it doesnt change the fact that I'm a better player than whatever kid. And everyone knows that anyway. Whats the point of honor on a spaceship game?

2. While its a public forum, most players you see who aren't playing either have a new name than the original forum name they made, or they have quit the game, only to keep tabs in here. And yes, alot of people alias around, but mainly stay in the lower levels of TW, rarely move up in the social ladder. And we talk about alot of current event shit on this forum cause we're a chatty group of fucks. That's what this game is built on. Continuum is an interesting chat program with a crappy game attached to it. And, I don't think it's all that surprising that there's a shit load of smack talk in the game. With the larger playerbase than a few years ago (Yeah, its still bigger, even if we don't have 700 online at one time), you can't expect a band of perfect angels. If you guys want to have this be a better place, start self-policing yourselves and stop crying to staff for all your problems. If a group of people blacklist a certain squad, they'll go away, if a group of people don't wanna play with a certain person, that person will go away. Trust me, if they come back and alias, they won't last long. And if they come back and alias as a nice person ... so what? We can stand them, then. Hell, look at Disliked, talk about a 180 turn around story he is.

4. I dunno ... I had more to say.... but I don't have the right mindset to say anything really meaningful. But, seriously people, I know its real easy to find a scapegoat for all of TW's problems and cry about them (Look at Congress take Grand Theft Auto out and use that as their fucking wet dream to blame everything on). I expected this answer from someone that models himself as a bad ass kind of staff. And do not even try to defend yourself, I've seen the way you talk about other trench wars players on teamspeak and chats. You are the primary example of one of the many problems with Trench Wars. So go fuck yourself, if you have nothing helpful or smart to say then dont say anything at all. I am not going to compete with you on this forum, I've beaten your squad twice in TWL, thats the way I settle my business. What are you going to do? Reply to this post and look smarter? Yes, do it and you'll probably have your way, 20 other forumers will back you up quoting this very same post. And thats it, forums vs trench wars = the forums has an edge.

I am not trying to play hero here, I am not staff and I dont want to be one. Those that do however should act like staff and help out. And no, I dont want to just play and shut the fuck up, I'd rather point out the current state of the game. I dont have to be staff to point out problems do I?

This thread has obviously pushed alot of buttons but the reality has to be said. There is a wide gap between trench wars and trench wars forums. It is almost like playing two completely different games. And at the rate of posts that OTHER FORUM section is filling up, it will have twice as many posts as LEAGUES section by the end of this year.

In game though (and I am re-stating what I said above) is a whole different story. TWL interest is at an all time low. And those 500 hundred rookie players that log on everyday, 80% of them are NOT going the right footsteps. They will get turned down by higher ranked squads sooner or later. So what then? And Bubs is a sole example of this, I said it once and I'll say it again. Players like him do this not because they can but because they know no other way. I realise Weaver and another member of staff whose name I cannot recall at this time worked on twd and made stricter rules on double squading. Thats good but outside of twd still remains a problem. There is not enough education for the upcoming generation despite all the work that has been put into ?go base and pub0'. No one will do or pay attention to anything that involves reading. In my opinion there needs to be a driving factor something revolutionary that will motivate new comers to get better and play harder and most of all understand how to move up in the community.

As for me saying that TWLB is the only league that is still competitive. If I wasnt a squad leader myself I would honestly try to join a basing squad. There is nothing better than playing against or with Disoblige, Camisade, Spastic, Anti-Scrub, Syndicate, -Final- etc... If one of these squads were to dissolve the impact of it would be felt throughout.

The elite squads you are talking about might not come back because Nethila can't run TWL properly.

We got more people to come to our week 2 game than showed up for any of the finals or semi-finals because we are the way we are, you can't argue with results. We make the league fun for alot of squads, so why bring us up when you want to talk about whats wrong with this zone?
