i imagine activity should boost a bit as league comes closer. but maybe not, i wasnt here for the last league, so i dont know if this happeend or not.

we need the basers to stop messing about with pub.

i've stopped playing pub since the levi change, its boring.....im spending alot more time in ?go javs and just sitting in spec and i dont seem to be the only one.

the pub population has suffered with this levi change....this week the lower pubs seem empty and dead as if their soul has been ripped away from them.

the base only takes up 1/2 of the map....you dont have to base to have fun in tw. In fact most people outside of pub 0 dont and seem to enjoy it. you get the dueling at safes, the levi greening and weseal spawning all these fun things that no one "vet" seems to "appove" of are the things that make tw fun and different to other zones. please dont destroy them.

We need to end this obsession with basing being the main aim in pub. TWL started with dueling. Most squads play TWDD more than anything else. The competativness of the zone is build on dueling not basing.

Thats not a new thing. Pure pub is not always the most popular pub

My point still stands pub seems to be dying in general, and the change to the levi is not helping revive it.

Im sure there used to be 3 or 4 pubs at 4pm gmt a while ago. Now there is only 2....

I also remember when I had my own squad, having a twbd and a twjd game at the same time. Now you have to challenge 50 squads to even have one game of twdd/jd

to Dock and Daku, just because there are more people in the lower pub then pure pub doesnt mean its more popular than pure pub. you just so happened to log in at a time where there were no pubbers, maybe you took it at 2am EST or something. I always see pure pub full when i played.

Exactly A2m. The problem with the population is that TWL is over and nothing else important like TWD tournies, BWC, or anything organized is happening. Its the offseason where everyone takes a break, changes zones and just gets away from TW for awhile. As soon as they annouce that TWL will start in a few months then you'll have ppl coming back trying to unrust and squads gettin more active trying to qualify and organize there lineups for TWL. For now, TWD games are pointless.

Oh god.. someone is actually trying to boost up the population. This game is old and obsolete and it will die eventually one way or another and there's nothing you can do about it. It's repressed by the current giants like WoW, with advanced graphics and gameplay which attract most of the gaming population. I kept hearing alot about this "Marketing Campaign". I've seen all those garbage posters, dopey youtube advertisements and whatnot. Did they work? Not at all. Maybe you'll file for a TV commercial now? ..Anyway, don't waste your time. Changing ship settings certainly won't help stabilize or increase the population either. The current players of Continuum will eventually quit, and new players won't bother starting. Even Reaver is embarrassed to put up the screenshots of the game, because it would dissuade people from playing it.. its true.. what else can I say? Who would want to check out a game without even seeing pics of it? Sounds like a pretty lame marketing strategy. And wtf is up with that birdbrained Doc Flabby putting up posters in his college; posters which he actually paid 15 euros for! Save your money to take a girl out, dumbass. Having a target audience of 19+ is pretty retarded unless you're in a mentally challenged institution. Put them up in a kindergarten or something.. although you'd probably get accused of child molestation. I don't mean to be too negative but that's the truth folks; get over it, nothing lasts forever.

Graphics alone do not maketh the game.

If i wanted to speed that £15 on an albaniun hooker i would have.

People out there are PAYING for a game like this which has good gameplay, but not the best graphics. The whole thing about the Wii. Gameplay is becoming cool again. There is a market out there for continuum.

WoW is a RPG, a game for people with no skill. A game which rewards length of time played/money paid rather than ability. The great thing about continuum is that it requires no time/money commitment and doesnt have to sap your life like WoW. You can connect and play in about 2 seconds. then play for a few mins then quit or have a break.

How many other MMPOGS released in the last 3 years are like continuum. ie a fast paced, skill based game. I dont think there are any.

Untill there is a compariable + better product on the market to continuum i think it will still have life in it.

ward its people like you that i wish would retire at least people are trying because they have friends on here this game has done remarkably well even up against the new more appealing 3D games, but as someone pointed out you can literally click 3 times and your in the game.

I myself was lost in wow but i came back because clickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclick clickclick gets pretty boring at least in ss the chat is easy its easy to log on and its an awsome game either you come on for five minutes you can, or play for 5hours regardless there is always going to be an appeal for it.

why shouldnt we get new people how many new babies are born everyday or how many will be that one year older and maybe they have never set eyes or ears on this game so damn you haters we should put it out there, there is always going to be new players its just about getting heard and putting the game out there.

But ward it is players like you that will set our community back and put off newbies that download the game im all for conversation about this but tbh if you have that opion why do you even bother putting your view why dont you go play your wow and in 5years ill see you in ss

You clearly did not get my point. I'm not saying this game is crap, I play it frequently and I enjoy it. There are other games I would probably enjoy alot more, however I don't want to get any more addicted cuz I got lots of stuff going in my life right now. All I'm saying that trying to promote continuum via advertisements and posters is a big waste of time.
