I completly agree, changing names when you become staff is retarded. I'm not even a fan of shortening, but I can understand why you'd do it, some staff names are pretty long (obviously nockm <staff> is better than no one can kill me <staff> -- i just don't like it as much)

What I really like are those clever names that use the position as part of the name (like Lam<ER> or whatever... whatev<er>, that is)

Also: Please unban PriitK <ZH>. PriitK <ZH> has suffered long enough, and is now 2 full years !!! !!! into a ban. Put PriitK <ZH> on parole instead of making PriitK <ZH> suffer until 2018 when the ban expires.
