Though players like Isreal (shark) could manage to get in FR, capture flag and hold it for 1 minute while under constant fire from 4 spiders.... That is quite effective, too.
REPEL, REPEL, REPEL....and our whole team still dies behind me when entering.... so, lag is BAD.

Its frustrating to write these lines after every post^
I'd hope there would be another way..like some automatic system that fills them itself after every post.
Nothing is worse than a lagging jav, especially those who just rocket into base and cause chaos. At least the laggy sharks can be hunted down before they reach the terrier. Which brings another laggy ship into the picture. Laggy terrs are just as bad as javs because they ram through mines and keep on truckin.

Your team sharks can hardly protect your super laggy friendly terr, so basically your team is worse off.
Besides, on average it takes longer for players to attach to a terr with 500ms pings than the one with 30ms pings.
I would know - I terr so very often back in the days when I constantly had 400ms ping.
I almost completely gave up on terring when symmetrical warping was first introduced to #myth. I terred once, by the time I realised I was warped out of safe, the nme terr already flew into base.
Also lag is relative, which means a laggy terr has a higher chance of get lamed my invisible laggy jav rockets.
Isn't there a trick with sharks that allows you to run through the mines. I heard that if you leave the arena then come back in as shark you can ram through mines without being affected. Not sure on the details, but I am pretty sure this works somehow.
It's not just with sharks but with any ships. Mines laid before you enter the arena won't register on your computer.
Of course, there are people who try to abuse this to ram mines, but if you consider the time it takes to leave and reenter the arena, plus the possibility of winding up on the wrong freq, this is hardly as practical as flying in as a shark and repping them yourself. It is also, thankfully, a non-factor in hosted base matches.
I think I am getting better at utilizing my lag in that sexy blue little ship - in a basing game just an hour ago, I lag mined the terr from the opposite freq and scored 4 fers !!!
BOOM!!! $$
I love my lag when I shark.

Every girl knows that a laggy shark is a shot in the dark; a laggy jav will drive you MAD.
I'd say both are equally as deadly... What's worse though? - One invisible bomb or another? Laggy javs are just slightly less inconspicuous than laggy sharks.... uhmm.... I think if I had to choose which to be it would be jav....

That definitely wouldn't be worth it. Leaving the arena and coming back just to go through mines you could have repped is hardly efficient.
Has anyone ever had a laggy Lev problem? Doesn't seem like they ever lag through things. They must be tooooo slow for lag to even become a factor.
