I def agree with ya there... there isnt such a thing as a stable squad anymore just a random collection of new squads and when twl starts all the players from the "powerhouse" squads will leave the squad they are currently in to play with there old squad in twl ive seen it happen OVER AND OVER and its gonna keep going and going forever like that pink bunny that plays the drums

What happened to the idea of stable squads?

I'm getting really tired of this TWL seasonal squad crap. There are few squads left that could even remotely be considered "stable" and even at that, they are only considered to be so because of inactivity. In a way I guess I’m being cliché and comparing competitive squads to ancient "powerhouse" groups, like the older versions of Melee, pallies, floydians, and paladen, but I think you've got to admit that the idea of squads being recreated seasonally with 75% of the same players and just a different name, is kind of a pathetic thing to do. I can’t count how many time I’ve heard new players arguing over which of two squads were better, when in fact the squads they were arguing about were pretty much the same thing (I.e. Melee & Grapevine, just after melee broke up). I just feel bad for the people who are new to the game. When I first started playing, I had squads to look up to, squads who were actually around long enough to get to know….
