What about the players that are deluded enough to think their analysis on banner colors matter?My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.Comment

since i'm fairly inactive, i only can get an idea of players from their forum posts. i think there are several basic categories we can classify forum members as:
The random shit poster: posts whatever incoherant thought just popped into their head, or some link they found on ebaums world 30 seconds ago...
the "this is what is happening in my life poster:" this person said fuck livejournal, i'm going to burden the entire population of trench wars with all my personal bullshit.
the "nobody listens to me in the game, so i'll complain on the forums" poster: these people are desperate for somebody to hear them out regarding their views on what needs to change in the game. unfortunately, very few people take these people seriously.
the "Meaningful Posters:" they try to discuss some pretty heavy stuff on the forums; made difficult by the fact that 80% of the members have the maturity of a 14 year old.
of course we have the "trashtalkers:" they really dont care what a thread is about. this poster will pick their prey and spend the next 2 weeks of their lives disputing everything this person says. they spend hours poring over posts looking for grammatical errors to point out. lets hear it for these guys.
we also have the "reserved" posters: they dont say much, but damnit, when they make a comment, people listen.
this brings us to the Scurvy: now this poster's pretty much an all around good guy. He has input to make on various topics, listens to what other people have to say, and makes intelligent responses based on his personal experience or intense research. i think we should all emulate the scurvy.Comment
