Well Im not one to complain about staff mistakes or anything but this new ZHbot is flat out stupid. The whole point of the ZH process to to learn *commands manually, learn how to host events manually, learn how to take calls manually. And now there is a ZHbot that allows them to host (im assuming) three-four events out of a smaller list of modules on this bot. This is going to produce a generation of crappy ER's who don't know their asses from a hole in the ground. We need LESS AUTOMATION no MORE especially in STAFF POSITIONS. This is like having someone in a company that has been training for a managerial position for a year, and hiring someone off the street to start running finances. Which one do you think would be better for the company? It is time to get rid of all this new age crap and go back to the basics of training. Manual, Manual, Manual, not automatic. Hopefully this will take us back to the days when staff was competant. (I realize that not every staffer is bad, but this will help some I think)

ZHBot was intended for ZHs who have shown that they CAN hold their own hosting manually, and access was offered to them if they had proven themselves as a host, yet for whatever reason were not to move on to ER at the 3 month mark. If ZHs are just getting ZHBot access without a clue what to do without it, then yes it's a problem... they SHOULD know what they're doing.

ZH's host games to train them to be an ER, that isn't the problem, the problem is people need to learn how to host without bots before having the priviledge to use shortcuts in hosting events. And that is called being promoted to an ER. Or else we have 25 ER's who do !advert LOL ?go hunt, and then !start, and then 10 macros they copy from the staff hosting archive as their entire repertoire of hosting skills. Is that really what we want?

I have used the ZHbot from time to time. It does help in hosting a bit, but mainly gets new staffers used to the commands used in bot hosting and general bot use. I can see the point that ZH's need to learn to do the events manually but please don't take away this learning tool, possibly make it have more limited access.
