You made purepub unpure. Settings suck ass, levs in purepub suck ass, and the hole in the bottom of fr on the right side is even more difficult to fire through and wb'ing roofers have trouble shooting into fr so now just got a bunch of LT's on roof at all times. You have completely destroyed my pub experience. Besides all that the maps is pretty coo tho B)

WB's, Levi's, and Javs have shots all over the place. They are just different than the old shots. And by different, for the most part I also mean harder and less protected. It will be harder for a levterr to hide up in the rocks and kill people in flag room, and thus it will be easier to kill the levterrs. It will also be somewhat harder to green a levi because of the doors on the safes. I have watched levi's trying to green from safe and laughed hysterically when they got warped into spawn area and shot. This should mean that people with Levterrs will actually have to earn them. This will bring out the LT pros and they will be a threat, but it will limit all the newb LT'ing that we have had in the regular pubs.

Levi's can no longer fire into the middle (flag area) of flag room from the roof. Being able to do this type of shot was overkill for the power of levis. They can however still fire into flag room from roof, they just can't hit it right smack in the middle and obliterate everyone all at once. Because levi shots are limited, it naturally limits warbird shots also. But good warbird shots from roof are still possible. I quickly got over 100 bty last night warbirding from roof, so I know it's possible. Warbirds can also fire from flag room through to the roof and sides fairly easily if you find the shots. But naturally a jav is going to be better at it. Of course the jav shots are harder also, but people will learn them.

The current regular pub map has not stayed the same throughout it's existence. It has had tiles moved as the need has become obvious. Maybe some tiles will need to be moved in this map as game play warrants. If anyone sees a particular tile that they feel needs to be moved or one needs to be added or removed, I think it's important to post that kind of information here. One tile can drastically alter game play, it has in the past.

One of the things that makes TW kind of a joke compared to other zones is the simplicity. Pure pub settings unfortunately made the simplicity even worse. Basically everyone javved and just did their own thing, and if a team happened to have a decent Base-Terr and a shark, they would win. Face it, pure pub was nothing at all like ?go base, which actually requires teamwork, even if it is all concentrated around the cram. With this setup, when a player first comes onto a team, they have to decide where they are best utilized. Flag room? Mid? Roof? Sides? Killing levi's in spawn area? In pure pub, you were either bombing flag room from mid or bombing mid from flag room, yeah real fun game.

These settings bring all 8 ships back into play in a relatively balanced way (like I said though, 1 tile can make a huge difference in ship balance, so keep that in mind). Maybe it's because my roots are actually in other zones, but I like pretty much everything about this new setup.

At least Restrict entrace to base to one entrance.
FR is boring with so many entrances. Theres no choke points. and its too easy for weasels to sneak in.

Pub seems to be filled with levi and wb. Not much basing goin on. I've seen better quality basing going on in normal pub (yes the one with full powered levi) with the old map.

The map doesnt suit pub imo. Is a nice map, but its not fun in pub.

Above are a summary of feedback from the last day and a half. The most split opinion so far regarding the testing seems to be the look of the map. Some people think the map looks fresh, and more modern, similar to maps of other zones. While others hate the tileset, and think it is ugly. There are still a few more days of testing to go, and all constructive feedback is welcome.

The base tileset is ugly and the base itself is a sad boki rip off. If you are going to change the pub map atleast change it to boki instead of that crap map. The levs bomb radius is smaller but the levs still do much damage inside base shooting against walls and down the tubes. The games are exactly as long as they used to be and people has started to be more outside base than in it.

Because that's how I fucking talk you little miscreant fucking kid, I talk like this when I'm pissed which I always am when dealing with you awe inspiring failures from staff who can't grasp the most obvious shit because you're too busy sucking each other off, for him to even suggest keeping the shitty single entrance bullshit just for the sake of the (suprise) DYING game of neo-8s is downright fucking infuriating, and its great to know that staff is littered with such failures, because that just tells me that the end of the zone has come and passed already. Complainers tend to have the highest/loudest voice. The summary you have quoted have been put together from conversations I've had with people in Public about the new settings.

These settings aren't final. There is a reason why it is called 'Integrated Public Settings Testing'. Most people you would talk to are biased against any change to the Leviathan. You guys have had the easy road for years, so it's time for you guys to live with a fair sacrifice in order to benefit this zone, in terms of competition.
