What is the reason why you can't see ppl's energy, while in spec, in baseelim?

What would you need to see people's energy for? The only reason I can think of is so that you can PM your buddy as to who he should vulch.

Actually,

It's to see in spec how much damage the bullets do on someone and how much damage someone takes when a bomb explodes on a wall next next to a player.
Private messaging, to me, makes no sence since when you have read a priv msg, the other ship is recharged anyways..

Is it really for the priv. msgíng or more to it?

yep seal's reasoning makes sense; by the time u type out the person's name for your buddy to hunt, your buddy will end up getting chased. So the messer, becomes the messee $_$

I guess its to see just how laggy some ppl are, after all, its another bragging right when you see someone take 100 damage from a prox bomb.
