If there were an ounce of sincerity in anything you say these days Wark and you showed a true want to change it might have been a consideration before the Myt thing given that we could put you on a very short and limited leash (nice one on the Myt-Mythrandir thing though. Gave us all a laugh for a bit.).

Bots make things more boring they just don't bring in some kind of atmosphere that ER's can bring.

Dear Wark,

After reading your post, I just have a few comments to make. Before I start constructively critiquing you, I'd just like to say a few things. You are a good host, that I've respected over time that I have played this game. Your ideas are creative and some are original.

Yet there are things that irk me about you. You tend to say you are the best hoster in the zone by far, second to no one. In my honest opinion, the "best" hoster of all time wouldn't need to flaunt that to gain entry back into staff or to show their level of support from the players. From just seeing things as they are, it looks clear to me that upper staff won't let you back unless your attitude changes. :\ I don't have any inside info, this is just from the outside looking in. I just have a hard time believing that somebody could flip right around not long after blaming Pure_Luck for abuse publicly then asking him to set aside beef so you can rejoin staff. There is just something wrong there.

This may be hard to take, Wark, but I hope you can see that I'm only saying this hoping you might consider backing up a bit and changing things in order to get what you want. Just one last thing that I see clear as daylight is the need for you to be in the spotlight. Yes, the current ERs aren't up to par, but again, when have they ever been in history of SS? The only ERs that I first were impressed with was when I first joined staff, back when sanction, sention, erathia, napalm, and others were extremely active. We do have great hosts on staff as it is, yet they are also busy doing other things for staff. Just from my point of view, from one respected host to another.

If you are really serious about wanting to help, I would only suggest going up to current ERs or constant hosters and helping them along. You don't need powers to help improve the zone or teach people events. That would be a way to at least start building your credibility up again with bridges that have been burnt in the past.

I cant deny that you were a good ER but I think you have too many issues with other staffers and the some of the people on the community (dont have to mention name((s)) that it would not make sense to put you on the ER spot again.

Staffer needs some social skills also to communicate and I think you have done your part of destroying some of the crucial connections. I still personally like you but im sorry for not considering you to staff at this point, I will give you some time to prove that your changed also, but not taking you to staff yet.

but hosting really has gone to bot and run..i think the last hosted game i played was hosted by kim or something..and it was killer in cube. is there really any host now that actually does anything but run a bot? I think they do hosts like most people take cheater calls these days..just go there and alt tab for a while. I already know how this is going to end but if you can improve staff why not do it?
