this has never once worked for me EVER alll it says is "invalid player" or "player cannot be found" nothing more, if it doesnt work...get rid of it? its not cool to have something pm you that doesnt eveb work.

hey Ikrit -- thanks for the timer LVZ stuff!... it was set up perfectly, so it just took about 10 minutes of research and 15 minutes of coding to get it working on purepub once I figured out how you laid it out...

also, we finally got king's mem leaks mostly squashed. unclosed SQL queries, go figure

for anyone else who cares, timer should work in pub 0, at least as long as we run it off of roboking.. complain to staff if it's not working and tell them to run from king. they'll know what you mean, especially if you are particularly obnoxious and use all caps

Speaking of SQL... you should look into moving the more frequently used queries to stored procedures, they have been beaten into my head by my company's new layered approach to all projects... saves you from worrying about SQL Injection and usually execute faster than regular querying.

You guys know how it goes, one team competly domintes the other and the game dies then slowly starts up again. After each game, randomize the frequencies. I think this would solve some problems of one team just being "too good" in pub (lol) Plus its not really destructive or hard to implement. And can we please *setship 3 to any jav that tks 10 times in 2 mintues.

Add on the rules too, whining about your team not basing in pub while you sit back in jav and lob bombs into fr and not attach when your team has fr is not basing, I think a_pac needs to know.

its called strategy i suggest you read a few common sense books dude. most of the time when i play pub i say 1 or 2 lines max per game, to help out the team. while people like you are arguing spiderman vs hulk whos better
