how can you 'have' a banduel when having a banduel is illigal, I mean.. They can't ban you if you lose, so how can you get banned for having the banduel that is illigal in the first place O_o

They are however highly discouraged. Staff themselves have organised and participated in banduels. The agreement being that zone rules were not to be broken by the loser, and would instead remain logged out for the negotiated time. Such an agreement forged between two players cannot and will not be monitored by zone staff. I don't care what kind of zany terms you want to apply if you were to enter into such a competition, but the line is drawn against breaking existing zone rules to fulfill your end of the bargain. If you do, and staff are aware of your banduel, I'll make you wish you hadn't.

The zone's position on this has already been covered by Kolar.
Banduels will not be sanctioned by TrenchWars staff under the current regime. Should you willingly enter into a banduel with another individual, you will not be stopped from completing the duel. However, should zone staff become aware of your banduel and the loser intentionally break zone rules in order to uphold their end of the bargain, there is no set penalty for how long you will be banned as a result.

Playing a ban duel is in itself illegal, you were banned for playing a ban duel.

How can you have a ban duel without a mod? So it's not a ban duel unless some satffer steps up says he'll ban the loser. At that point the staffer should get banned or axed. I mean, sounds ridiculous.
