Well star, I don't think that people have forgotten, but at least, even though it might not have been a good way of doing it, I think you honored them in your own way, at least you helped the memory live on of those poor people who lost there lives, the fact that there were people offended by your advert shows that people do still remember and still care, so all in all I think you accomplished a good thing.

1. If I had to pick a winner of this thread, it would be voth - you improve with every post.
2. End does not speak for the entirety of the UK. I have never once heard someone make a joke about 9/11 like that.
3. Unfortunately soupero's generalisation of the British public is quite accurate, but that's a problem for us to sort out.
4. Regardless of your nationality, when you see footage of people jumping from the top of a skyscraper, knowing the fall will kill them but doing it anyway to avoid burning to death, you would be inhuman to not be moved.
