Same story although you should have a decent connection inside the USA since the server is also located in the USA. If you don't, too bad.

I would just like to announce, my lag has always been stable and it still is.
That is all.

My ploss has recently been going up, ill sit around .7-.8 now. It never did this before and my isp hasn't changed. I was directed to think that the trenchwars webhosting site was going to pay for a better server... But i know ppl with cheap servers on crappy t1 connections that could host with less lag. A 2d game with limited graphics where most the code is client side doesn't require a "special" server.

I'm talking years ago when it moved from Finland or wherever it was to the eastern part of the US. It wasn't until recently that for some unknown reason I've been able to play TWD without getting spec'd every match.

Somehow this is enough for me to not be able to TWD, until very recently I was unable to stay in a match because I would constantly be spectated by the bot. Before the server move I was never spectated.
I don't know if that has to do with lag restrictions being tightened after the move or what but it doesn't make much sense that I couldn't participate in TWD seeing how I have virtually no lag and live so close to the server. I'm not saying anyone can do anything about this I just want to point out it's not just people outside the US that are having this packet-loss problem.

The only server that moved recently that i know of is the webserver, not the Game server...

I disagree.
PS: Punctuating insults with "afk" is not funny either. Never was.

Wherever this topic goes, it all comes down to...
no staff, nor any server owner can do anything about lag or packetloss some people outside of the USA are having
because of this, it's quite pointless to discuss this at all.
Even the dutch people have had some bad packetloss a month ago but that has gone away.
Usually all packetloss/connection problems are solved by the foreign ISPs that control the routers which make up your connection to the Trench War's server.
Life sucks, learn to live with it.
