I am unaware if anyone has already brought up this point in a previous discussion, as I do not usually pretend to know what I'm talking about in such affairs any more and memory had not afforded such a memory of the following:
Technology has seeped into the cracks of humanity's toe like no other fungus, so much so that now the whole of humanity is wrought with the reek. Some like the smell, others don't. I find myself somewhere in between. In any case, many people are buying computers, upgrading out-dated/broken/less-advanced models, becoming better at using these computers in offices, airports, cafés, les points d'acceès Wi-Fi, etc., and most importantly, becoming better at the internet. Better? Better. What do I mean by better? I mean, beter. Or the sites are just better, thereby making it easier to find games- especially online, free games. Here then, is the point: while the player population may dwindle from time to time, and with proper support (of monetarial sorts and more, of course), the amount of people getting acquainted with the internet is growing rapidly every day, and as I stated these people are getting better at using the internetS every day also, therefore... SUBSPACE WILL NEVER DIE. And no matter what anyone else thinks, this Zone is best (no need to prove this, it is too firmly a rooted belief, i.e. trenchwars4lifehardcoreomgzz!!, etc.), and so since Subspace will never die, neither will Trench Wars. Let's hope that my other belief, namely the one that prescribes our imminent doom, is wrong (listen to prophet MF DOOM, who prescribes Doomsday, sweet, tragic Doomsday, for more information- I try not to be evangelical but if I believe my God to be true, shouldn't I attempt to convince you? I think so, too). Let us hope that I am wrong, that we don't want to kill ourselves because the new kids are fucking newbies. I fucking hate fucking newbies.
