Base Maps

Hey everyone,

With Boki being up, some players had suggestions that we should change the Public map every fortnight or month, and perhaps on every second scorereset. If this were to go ahead, I'd start it after Christmas.

Below are a few maps which I think we could use to make Public more interesting to play in. This might even make the original map a breath of fresh air when we would revert back to it.

Well played, Only problem i would see is that if someone didnt like it, we would lose them from playing for 2 weeks.

A person would generally play the map and just grumble than actually sit out a full 2 weeks. But, really, it's something new, even the pub map we generally have has people who don't like it, so it's not like it's anything new. That being that it changes twice a week (for example) would give a better chance of not alienating too many people at one time for too long.

moot: pure pub does not work without a jav restriction, if it works at all. lots of time people don't even attempt to take the flagroom, there needs to be more incentive.

F22base should be there of two reasons.

a) It's an awesome map.
b) Created by one of the best staffers of the zone.

Look you can fuck with the maps as much as you like, ok fine.

But don't fuck with the cloaker, the cloaker brings an extra element and new tactics into the game, this fat cloaker is so bad noone will use it (even less than the current small underpowered cloaker) so can we please leave the ship settings alone thankyou.

what! the new cloaker destroyed the element of cloaking it serves NO purpose at all. it changed from an unique ship to a wb clone. it lost all its assassination possibilities with its huge energy regeneration, and the loss of repel and rocket.
