If this "hacker" is indeed Squadless, I believe that i pity him; he is not only hacking the game the he probably loves (or he would have quit it a long time ago), but he is also wrecking it for others and causing much un-needed turmoil for Dock. Bandwidth = money, which means to supplement for the losses, we'll have to further donate more money or else TW would be in a closing crisis. I don't have anything more to say for such an ignoramus.

Imagine the headlines ... "Loser hacks an online game and faces life in jail." If only. My only concern is once they find his IP and block it, he can get a new one and do the same thing. And considering his drive to do this in the first place, when it happens again I won't be surprised.Vehicle> ?help Will the division's be decided as well today?

Blocking IP, are you talking about his IP? wtf?
to do attacks at 50meg/s would mean he hijacked about 3 T2 Level networks and using them as zombies each going at 18meg/s. hence meaning you cant trace the user's IP.
If i was priitk or dock> they're best chance would be to contact the network admins. Most admins are paranoid about hackers anyways. But if this "squadless" is any decent hacker, he would've used sockschain with at least 15 proxies on his hacked (*nix?) shell account while sockschaining his own computer to about 18 different proxies while linking them to each other causing it to be untraceable beyond belief. but 15-18 proxies are newbish. I have hacker friends who use up to 35-40 proxies to hide their damn IPs.
anyways, gg tw. this hack isnt bad, since now you can share the wealth of SS players!Last edited by Ancient Power; 03-30-2003, 12:40 AM.

Services
I feel an eye for an eye is called for. I offer my services to teach this so called hacker a lesson. His ip address, a cable modem, and a few hours and I promise his computer won't log onto tw for quite a while."They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
