Haha I gotta say though, the arena needs to be worked on. You spawn in an "I"? You have to fly out of a box? I think the arena could be made a bit more interesting, unless there is some kind of genius behind this design that I can't grasp.

i dont know how tough it would be, but an arena similar to elim would be nice. one wiht maybe 3 stages or soemthing. if there is less than 10 people, the available play area is small to make sure the search time is reduced. then open up another section if there is greater than 10

Just make it a basic deathmatch arena. It doesent need to be fancy its wbs. I think alot of people especially newer players would like to have this. It encourages people in pub to get better at the dueling ship just like ?go javs encourages me to try and get better in ship #2. I dont think you really need to poll this because most players will be for it. Maybe have a launch date and advertise the opening of the arena or something to draw a large crowd. Think this would be good for the zone cause sometimes elim is dead and no wbduel and no players on to play a twdd and your just sitting in some arena not doing anything getting hella bored with the game.

warbirds are pretty straight forward. practice in a pub? that's what people used to do, now we need an arena with a bot dedicated to it? i don't really see the point.

Go wbs was up a little bit this weekend and it did well, had over 20 ppl at one point with no advert. And elim still thrived. This is what i dont understand. Our pubs are based off of basing. Theres nowhere that a wb can go. Other then elim to get solid practice. I hate having to wait 20 mins to get in some games. And then other times it randoms to a lev elim where 2 stupid fucks play til 10 lives. ?go wbs will be good for people to practice like ?go javs is for javs.

The only thing im hearing from staff is they dont want elim to decrease. My reply is simple. Who on staff actually plays elim constantly? Apart from jessup warlok and 420. Noone. Shouldnt this after all be the community's decision? That is why there is staff amirite? Staff should allow us to wb freely in ?go wbs to practice. Not disagree on the off chance that one day they MIGHT play elim and it wont be packed. Afterall if ?go wbs does become a hit and even on the off chance that go elim dies (which it wont) Isnt that fine because its giving the community what it wants. Afterall out of every staff thread ive seen you all say the same awnsers, but when does anything get accomplished. Unless its some shity television idea that gets spammed every 2 mins.

At the very min do a few adverts showing a poll asking for ?go wbs. Its the least that can be done from reading the spam television thread adverts.

and combine ?go javs with ?go baseelim. (as has been suggested by someone before - cant remember who sorry for the steal :P)

Then simply have a !notplaying option for people who just want to practice, and not play in the elims. Alot of the time i find i come to baseelim and a game is in progress, go back to javs, check baseelim and a game has started already again so i cant play

what does this have to do with anything? ALL the squads AGREE to the rules BEFORE they join twl. so take some blame for yourself for agreeing to the rules that have been in place for years

I have to agree, If you go to tourny, you will see the javs OVERWHELMINGLY rule the voting for the most part.

More people enjoy the javelin.

just because javs rule tourny does not mean everyone enjoys javs more, it just means javs don't enjoy baseelim or ?go javs or javduel as much as tourny

elim is always going to be stronger than tourny or wbduel and thats why there are not as many wbs in tourny as javs... on top of that once 50 javs show up in tourny whats the point of trying to get wbs voted for, its a waste of time



one thing i would like to point out is wbduel has been dead ever since you guys took player wbduel bot powers away.... its retarded

just because one bad apple did wrong does not mean you should have taken powers away from everyone.... wbduel would be dead and it would be up to players like me with powers to spam chats and get friends in there to get it going, and once I did that it kept on going for many many games even if i wasnt there to host it.

You never see staff host wbduel like that... its sad and it means staff are majorly bias toward basing and javs, which has usually always been the case but you need to fix that problem... it screws wbs over

or better yet give bot powers back to a few players who enjoy wbduel, and are capable of keeping it running and not abusing powers... cough cough
