Blood, it wouldn't really consume any effort. It took about 30 mins to set up the server to allow videos of stream to be broadcasted. Now, it's honestly able to be run like any normal radio show. :-p It's actually already done, but I don't want to put any more effort if no one is going to bother to tune in and watch. So this is my way of feeling out who would be interested in watching, and for what reasons.

What about streaming any TWL games and have one or more commentators comment on it? It would have a small delay but might be nice for the people that couldn't make it or those that want to want to watch it for the comedy value

I think having repeats of comedy shows is a bad idea; anybody can easily use tv-links or tvshack etc. to see them whenever they want. The only thing that would draw watchers would be original and interesting content.

Do something thats just like ESPN Classic: Show old subspace matches, classic championship games and the like, and you could have two broadcasters commenting on it and what not.
You could do stuff with hockey too.
You could even set it up so you had TWDD matches during the off season scheduled with top-notch squads and broadcast em with an announcer. (The announcer could use twd's website to report stats on the players in real time and stuff)
Another thing you could have like "TRENCHWARS MOST FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS" where like you have people submit their own say 15-30 second clip of something funny happening to them in subspace.
You could do game shows too like pictionary/art/etc.
As far as things like family guy and all that, sure I guess you could do that but I think more would be interested in subspace related stuff.Comment

LOL Trench Wars funiest home videos. This has happened so many times with javs. I forget that the bomb bounces so I forget about it and I just sit there calmly and then suddenly I'm dead because it came back. But I don't think many people would be able to capture their funniest moments. Recording in high quality uses up a lot of memory per minute. To capture something funny someone would have to be recording at all times and hope that something happens.Comment

I'm a fan of the idea for commentators on matches. That seems interesting, to me. The tv shows and movies is a bad idea, though. There're already enough outlets for that. Originality is key, so if we can have SS clips with commentators or with sound-boards(that could be hilarious depending on board), or even musical tracks - I might actually be inclined to view/be involved.Comment

I tried using Fraps to record a small session of me playing. But no matter what framerate I put in the options it still looks like 30 fps and it's hard as hell to play with the program running. Also there are these white lines accross the screen in the video. Anyone know of another program I could try?Comment
