Powerball Replays

[Sufficient]

Powerball Zone just recently implemented a replay feature which allows you to watch the recorded smallpub draft league games (8 team league currently done with 2nd round action ... 115 players are participating in this league). This is your chance to check out this new feature which shows spec comments as well. Also you can watch your two favorite TWers Sufficient and jiu jitsu in action. Jiu is playing under his usual name, I'm under the name Winsome.

Here's how to watch the replays:

1) get the game id# from: http://www.powerballzone.com/league/...?I_LeagueID=22
2) enter Powerball Zone
3) go to a replay arena ... ?go replay ... ?go replay1 ... ?go replay2 ... etc
4) type in '?replay gameid#'

Note that you cannot stop a replay once it starts. Simply go to another replay arena if you wanna watch another replay.

Just for your convenience, jiu plays for kornballers and I play for sadface lolcats. I believe Final (disq I think?) is also a TWer who plays for a league team as well as Static Burn ... and maybe others.

Update:

The replay module has been updated with the following:

1) It now sets the timer on starting replays, so if the accompanying bot is present, you will have full scoreboard/timer.

2) FAST FORWARD has been added to replays =)
To use this command, you have to be the one who started the replay (or a zone mod). The command is:
?ff x (where x = # seconds to advance from current point)

A caveat about using FF...Since you are skipping over a segment of time, certain events will be dropped..This can include things like bombs/mines/etc. There is simply too much data to actually process while FFing. Normally everything will sync within a few seconds after issuing the FF command. However, goals scored will always be tracked (even though you won't see goal msgs when FF'ing), thus the score will always be right! Finally, the timer is also corrected when FFing.

And to answer the obvious follow-up question, there is no rewind command. Due to the way the module works, it would not be easy to implement. I may make a macro that would emulate rewind in the future (it would just stop, start and ff to point of interest). You could also do this yourself.

3) The ability to stop a replay using ?stop. Again, only the replay starter or a mod can do this.
