So this is the second time we have done Wild Guns Weekend and even more people have said they liked the shark with guns. As far as sharks go in Trench Wars they are the only ship without guns and pay the price for it all day and night. Soooooooo do you want the shark to be armed or not? I can adjust the bullet settings to delay or cost more as well so this weekend setting is very easily modified.

Leviathan and javelin are the only other two ships with bombs, and also bullets, but they're balanced out. Levi is slow as hell and can't attach until it has 20 bty, javelin shoots bullets from its ass, and both have horrible recharge speed and gun delay. Shark on the other hand, already has emp, 1hit shrap, and 3 reps to help it recharge. Plus the point of the ship is to bomb and defend the fr with mines and reps, not go out and Rambo the other team with bullet streams. So unless you're gonna have the bullets shoot at a 120 degree angle from the side of the ship, you're gonna create a monster of a ship.1:Reaver> HALPOriginally posted by paradise!

I like the idea of sharks having bullets, but it's gotta be done right. Very weak, slow, and not many. Just enough so that if someone is emped at low nrg that a shark can finish them off.7:Knockers> how'd you do it Paul?

In basing, the Shark is my primary ship. And in my many matches I think I always have that one "If I had a gun.." moments. But, I think if I actually had that gun there would be this balance that would be broken. What I like about sharking is the fact that there isn't this standard, conventional, offensive weapon. The bomb is very unique in the way that you need to provide it's speed and such, and the mines are an art for killing.DELETEDComment
