Also if your graphics are still too choppy you can change your color depth to 8 instead of 16 or 32, made a big difference before I got a comp made in the last two years.

Any computer from the past 8 years should be able to run Continuum at a solid 60fps, other than some LVZ-filled arenas.

Also, I've had that tip from the first post in my FAQ in the tech support forum for about 4 years now, just done in a different way.

          http://forums.trenchwars.org/showpos...53&postcount=2

Also check out the color depth section of the above; it makes a pretty huge difference if you have older hardware, or are trying to run the game through WINE on Linux.

And I wouldn't really disable the framerate limit in the options. All it can really do is cause issues, like Money encountered.

i found this tip from another website (only works on vista i think)

Right click on your Continuum icon and go to "Properties." In properties you will need to go to the "compatibility" tab. Check "Disable visual themes," "Disable desktop composition," and "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" and click apply. This will turn off some of Vista's special effects while Continuum is running.
this made it increase by another 60fps
now i get an average of 150 fps

why do you want 150 fps? isnt 90 enough?

There is really no point in having higher than 60fps. Actually, it's better to keep the cap on so it stays at a rock solid 60fps instead of jumping around and crap.

Lately i cant get above 6 fps (no typo, indeed, SIX). Great to test your predicting skills, because its the only way you can somewhat play the game then.

when you press esc+f in game, is the red number up the top left show the framerate? cause for me it shows about like 130-170 fps, but i have the framerate limit ON, unchecked in advanced options.. so why does it still show over 60 fps?

because the cap is 128, thats what mine caps at... if i take limit off it goes to 800+

i notice tho that in pub even with the cap on i see 300+ fps but when in twdd or elim its ALWAYS 128

and yea the red numbers is FPS
