One main reason Distension is fun is the same reason xing levis is fun, or for the same reason bombing a full base with levis is fun. It's pure gratification and lamage. Your ship strength is based on how often you play and because everyone loves owning and being lame everyone can't get enough of this huge arms race to get the best ship.

Its honestly a bunch of fun but I've been playing HyperSpace long enough to know that its probably not the direction trenchwars should go. Not that I'm saying my opinion is worth much on this matter but its out there now.

In my opinion Distension should be running on WEEKDAYS instead of WEEKENDS. Scheduled times (3AM - 7AM EST & 5PM - 9PM EST, purrrrrrrrrhaps).

On Weekends players could log on for some quality events, watch TWL and play Elim, BElim, WBDuel, Base, JavDuel etc. Oh and attend for Weekend events, ofcourse! :wub:

I like this. Or getting rid of distension in general. Both solid options.

run it like an event and keep it that way, and things are fine... make it 24/7 and things are not

that's the issue here

not hard to fix, just run it like you used to... instead of hosting zombies 20 times every weekend which got old 8 years ago, run distension
