Then, in June, my Father passed away from Crohn's disease which was... difficult, to say the least. I've finally managed to pluck up the courage to go and get tested for Crohn's for I hear there's a possibility of it being genetic.

Why is it always the idiots that are at the top? My colleague is dimmer than my manager... the woman who's been on an excel course at least twice and still doesn't know how to open a file. My department is the laughing stock of the company. On the plus side I have driven the odd new car; drove the new Insignia the other day, quite a nice car.

I had toyed with the idea of police/fireman myself in the past, they've not been ruled out while I think about how to escape dim and dimmer. Good on you though for taking up such a good job.

I graduated in 2007 and got a job a few days after I got out of school as an animator , and moved into the office life that you had to deal with for a little over a year as well

I too, had a shitty boss that didn't know how anything about flash even though he oversaw 5 or 6 flash animators

i got another boss in the same company a few months later (awesome guy) and made animated flash games for kids for a few months and that was awesome, but still didn't like coming home too tired to animate what I wanted to do

so I decided to go with the option I was mulling over before i graduated, which was a firefighter- started the process last april and after the long application process I'm only a few months away from being a firefighter

It will give me the time I want to animate and I'll be helping people as well

how's life? where have you been?

The last time I took a couple of years break from the holiday, I came back as a Christian... as a new person, so to speak.

This time I am, again, a new person for I am no longer a Christian.

Since 2007 I went back to university for a month or two before dropping out. In early 2008 I got a job in an office (terribly tedious work and a boss that doesn't know how to spell mirror, or if a *.pdf file should be opened in excel or word, for they are the only two programs that are used on a computer) which I hate, as you can no doubt tell.

That's pretty much 2008 in a nutshell; worst.year.ever.

Now, I am trying to escape my job; either trying university one last time or a different job; preferably not office based.

btw, why aren't there any adverts for this chat? I found it by scrolling back news on twd.org.. IMO it would help bring more people in to TWD if pubbers knew that there was a chat like this. They could join it and follow the discussion and maybe grow an interest towards TWD?
