Cant you just take over running twl stargazer? 100$ is a fair amount. Then the winning squad gets it split up amongst others. And Im talking about next twl.

Cash prizes will bring in people. But, 100$ for some kind of variation of elim... It just seems like a waste to me. Im not even tempted to turn up. Its awesome your willing to part with your cash though. Respect.

I will talk to all involved about it for next season, I am willing to do it but, TWL+Money... thats a huge step I am not sure TW is ready to go for yet.

There are issues like:
How much? (100/35 max = approx 3$ each.)
How do we guarantee the money is distributed equally?
Should the money be divided equally?

and those are a few off the top of my head.

However, I can see it happening in the future.

Ok, this was beyond terrible. The event didnt start till like 45 minutes after the zoner for it, and the rules changed halfway through.

You rewarded people who hid the whole fucking game by letting them play for money, vs the players that actually did what they were supposed to like pascone or creature or even that GBR newbie.

I understand that you had to manually set this up since it killed the bots, but this is beyond the point of constructive criticism. I who havent hosted before could have done a better job simply by remembering to give people anti or reset ships after prizing shields. Or, an even better idea...speccing hiders. This was below the level of one of volcs' hosts and now i can understand why thats accepted after seeing this. Someone just wasted 100 bucks.

BTW I dont know if there was a cross zone ad for it or not, but if people from other zones came here they're probably laughing pretty hard right now

My question is, why wasn't PL consulted before this event was hosted? (PL had to change things about the event implies that there were things he didn't know about beforehand) well, i guess PL could just be a scapegoat.

No cross zone. That was what took abotu 20 minutes. We were trying to get the cross zone to work. It did not. Details of that will be left aside.

The bot did not work. This also caused about 10-15 minutes of time delay. For that I do apologize Adam,riistar,myself and fantus tested it 12 hours before trying to ensure it worked. The problem is we had no way EVER to test a 100 versus 100 environment.

Due to that. I had to either cancel the match. And have you all bitching about that. Or attempt something else. Since we had already zoned and had 200+ there I better host something. In retrospect I should have made it an elim to 3. Rather than the team game. The results would be the same for the stepelim.

I did arena the change in the game bfore the start of the match. The teams were an equal 86/86 at start of the dm. Now, I was going to start step elim with about 100 left. But Pure_Luck stated he wanted it finish the Dm first, THEN go to the step elim. So I complied, however it finished with 2 left on one freq.

And really, I didn't care who won the money. (Evaden did. And as I hear about it, hes splitting the money with acidbomber). Bitch all you want about it. at the end of the day you all had an equal chance to win 100$ at the start dont be mad because you lost.
