So we can blame duel pasta for increasing the newbness of our zone tenfold.....



Anyway, I was shown this game in late '98 by a freind his tagname was firestorm or something... cant remember anymore, i played on his name on and off and then decided to make my own account in march '99.

Another Forum I Go To Often Has These Topics With Games. They Made Like 3 Continuum Topics And Hosted Their Own Server For A While. Altho A Lot Of People Could Not Play Because Whenever They Tried To Open Continuum It Would Open In Many Windows, Do Nothing, And The Only Way They Could Close It Was By Alt Ctrl Del. So After A While The Server Died And They Stopped Playing It But I Left The Game On My Computer. Then Some Months Later I Decided To Try The Other Zones. Played Mostly Dsb And Tw But Soon Sticked To Just Tw.

I started freshmen year of highschool. Was in the business tech class (basically teaching excell, word, 10 key ect) A few of my friends downloaded ss to about 15 computers and every day we would play when we finished the 10 mins worth of work we had. After about a year they started suspending kids for downloading stuff on computers so i stopped playing and about 3 years ago i got curious and typed in flying spaceships in google and walla here i am

In 2000, when I was 10, I saw my older brother playing this game. He called it the "capture the flag" game but told my younger brother and I that we weren't allowed to play because it was for "big kids." So for awhile I just watched him play, but eventually I went behind his back and made my own name, because him forbidding me to play it just made me want to play more. I just had to delete my name from the player list every time when I was done playing, so he wouldn't know that I was playing the game, haha. :fear:

Back in 04, a friend of mine from another game told us to download this game, cause it was fun. He pasted the link, and waited for us to tell him our aliases. We used to play for about an hour a day, going into private arenas, and splitting up for 5v5 duels. I don't know why we all stopped playing, but as far as I know, I'm the only one who still plays, after a ~4 year hiatus.

when I was younger, my friend who wanted to get me into starcraft (but I didn't) decided to get me into this game instead. It was around '01, he had the name Alpa! so I made the name Alpa? Later on when he quit to play other games, I stopped to play diablo 2, then I came back around '04 so I made Alpha Omega, then eventually Gran Guerrero.

just so happen to be hanging out with a couple of ugly nerds, when i saw them playing this game, and they were pretty bad at it - and i thought id wanted to try.. and they never let me no matter how much i persisted.

so i went home, downloaded it and played to see what the fuss was about.. now im hooked. moral of the story - curiosity killed the cat
