Ban duels

Since it would appear you guys are reviewing your racism policy which has been a long time coming, maybe you should review your policy on this as well. I understand the reason you dont want to have any banduels at all is because you dont want people to quit this game permanently, but perhaps you could do a week max? The people that would be doing this are already going to play this game regardless of a 7 day vacation they may get for sucking and having ego. I think a lot of people would like to see these hosted...at least a lot of the players who actually have an ego about a spaceship game

The only way we're going to be able to have ban-duels is if staff isn't involved. We can set up a website and a chat for people who are interested. They can register on the website and join the chat. This way we can keep track of who's dueling who when. If someone loses they do something to get banned. If they don't everyone finds out about it and they are removed from the website and can no longer ban-duel.

Because when someone has to get banned he says for example : the N-word

• Banned for 1 day

He loses his next banduel (cause he just loves to banduel)

• Banned for 3 days

He loses again

• Banned for 1 week

And eventually he has a ban for 3 months , 6 months or even a year.

All the more reason to win? Also it would make the ban-duels more interesting/rare. Which would bring a large audience.

Of course if staff was involved it would be better but that will NOT happen. So we are left with this idea or nothing.

Im closing this thread with a warning to you all. bandueling with the intent of 'forcing someone to do illegal actions to be banned' are illegal in Trench Wars. Facilitating, organizing, participating or by any other means being part of one will be banned from the zone.
