step 1) keep all their weaponry the same, but reduce their energy down to 800'ish (approximation of being able to be killed by 2 spider bullets or reasonable splash damage from jav bombs)
step 2) make it spawn with antiwarp. however, antiwarp causes drain so that it can't just sit there all day preventing people from attaching
right now, the lanc's base role is basically sit back and snipe because of it's horrible manueverability, and even then it's sniping abilities suck royally. what i'm proposing is to take that clunky mediocre fighter and turn it into a good utility ship meant to disrupt the other team by not allowing them to attach, but while still having decent defensive capabilities so that it can still participate in flagroom fights.
please use this in the same test arena as the cloaker idea.
